Amazon India’s Great Indian sale has kicked off at midnight and will go on till 11:59PM on August 10. The e-commerce site is promising deals across various categories, including electronics (smartphones, laptops, PCs, cameras, tablets and e-readers), accessories, clothing, books and more. This is Amazon’s first sale after it introduced Prime in India, and Prime subscribers will get free one-day and two-day delivery, as well as a 30-minute head-start on all the deals.
Amazon India is also offering 10 percent cashback for SBI card users shopping on the app, and 7.5 percent cashback for those shopping on the website. For cashback, a buyer has to have a minimum transaction of Rs 5,000 and the maximum cashback one is entitled to is Rs 1,500. Fitbit: Amazon India is offering 20 percent discount across Fitbit’s range of wearables. The discount is applicable on the Charge HR, Blaze smart fitness watch, Alta fitness tracker, Charge, Surge, Flex, and the Fitbit One. The range starts from Rs 6,799 and goes up to Rs 19,999.
GoPro Hero 4 Adventure Edition: The GoPro Hero 4 is currently available with a discount of 14 percent. The price tag is down from Rs 34,900 to Rs 29,999. The GoPro Hero 4, launched in 2014, supports 1080p video recording at 60fps and features a built-in touch display, 12-megapixel camera capable of shooting at 30fps, built-in Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The camera is also waterproof up to 131 feet.
Micromax 40-inch full HD LED TV: In case you are looking for a full-HD LED TV you should consider the Micromax 40G8590FHD/40K8370FHD. The LED TV, which is usually priced at Rs 39,990, is now available on Amazon India for Rs 20,299. In other words a 49 percent discount.
Amazon Kindle: Amazon has slashed the price of its two popular Kindles — the entry-level all-new Kindle and the Paperwhite. The new Kindle which was recently launched for Rs 5,999, is now available for only Rs 4,999. The Kindle Paperwhite, on the other hand, has been given a price cut of Rs 2,000, and is now available for Rs 8,999.
Xiaomi Mi 5: Xiaomi’s flagship Mi 5 smartphone went on sale in India earlier this year with a price tag of Rs 24,999. During the ongoing sale though, there is a Rs 2,000 discount applicable on the black and white variants, which brings the price down to Rs 22,999. The gold variant however is still available at the usual price of Rs 24,999.
Coolpad Note 3: Coolpad launched the Note 3 in India towards the end of last year, with a price tag of Rs 8,999. The smartphone has now received a Rs 1,000 price cut and is now available on Amazon India for Rs 7,999. At this price you get a device with a 5.5-inch 720p display, MediaTek octa-core SoC, 3GB RAM, and a 3,000mAh battery.
YU Yuphoria: The YU Yuphoria, which was launched for Rs 6,999 last year, is now available for Rs 5,499 on Amazon India. The smartphone features a 5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 410 quad-core chipset, 2GB RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, and LTE support.
Xbox One with Kinect: The Xbox One console is available at a massive discount in the ongoing sale. Amazon India has listed the Xbox One with Kinect ‘Halo The Master Chief collection bundle’ for Rs 29,990. The usual price of the bundle is Rs 45,990.
InFocus II-50EA800 50-inch full-HD LED TV: If you are looking for a full HD LED TV at a budget, you could consider the InFocus II-50EA800. The 50-inch television is available for as low as Rs 29,990, which is down from Rs 37,990. The TV offers a full HD resolution display, 16 Watts audio, two HDMI ports and one US port.
Audio-Technica ATH-M50x: Audio-Technica’s over-ear professional studio monitor headphone is usually available for Rs 10,699, but during the sale it has received a price cut and is listed for Rs 8,999. Only the black variant is available at the cut-price, whereas the dark green and matte grey variants are available at the usual price. The professional-grade headphones feature 15-20,000Hz frequency response, maximum input power of 700mW and sensitivity of 96dB.
